Associate Producer
**Summary**
Associate Producer position is responsible for the upkeep of a live operations product and the production period of a package product. Job duties also include maintaining records of a game title, checking for fan feedback, and ensuring the accuracy of the information handled.
**Essential Duties**
【Communication with Development Teams】
・Primary liaison between the Japanese development teams and the North American production team for a live operations title.
・Monitor product updates, maintenance schedules, and operational changes.
・Share fan feedback and community insights with development teams.
・Translate written materials between Japanese and English accurately.
・Provide necessary information for social media and marketing initiatives.【Marketing & PR Coordination】
・Coordinate with PR and marketing teams to promote game titles.
・Provide promotional assets such as screenshots, artwork, and video captures.
・Obtain asset usage approvals from IP holders for promotional activities.
・Generate promotional ideas for events and trade shows.
・Collaborate with community management on post-launch content development.
・Establish and communicate KPI targets for campaigns.
・Plan, execute, and optimize paid user acquisition campaigns to drive growth, retention, and revenue.
【Production & Business Coordination】
・Maintain a strong understanding of project contracts and production timelines.
・Coordinate with finance regarding milestone payments and post-launch platform payments.
・Support contract negotiations and drafting with legal counsel, executives, and external partners.
・Monitor project milestones and payment schedules following contract execution.
【Quality Assurance】
・Review marketing materials and provide feedback.
・Ensure the accuracy of in-game messaging.
・Verify messaging accuracy across all official channels.
・Ensure proper timing for announcements, messaging, and promotional reveals.
【Supervisory Responsibilities】
・Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members when assigned.
・Communicate company goals and expectations to direct reports.
・Manage timesheets and basic supervisory responsibilities.
**Additional Responsibilities**
【Community Engagement】
・Collaborate with the community management team to support fan engagement.
・Participate in live streaming events when required.
【Live Events & Promotions】
・Attend live events and interact with fans.
・Assist in organizing tournaments, giveaways, and merchandise promotions.
・Support marketing and community teams in facilitating competitive gaming events.
【Content & Asset Support】
・Edit or assist with editing art assets when necessary.
・Test prototypes of upcoming game titles and provide feedback.
【Other Duties】
・Serve as a Japanese interpreter for Western development partners when necessary.
・Travel for business or work outside standard hours when required.
・Attend and support trade shows and industry events (e.g., E3, Anime Expo).
