Job Description
We are seeking experienced Presentation Design Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with strong Google Slides expertise to participate in recorded project sessions. In this role, you will work directly with end users to understand their needs, develop custom presentation materials, and present multiple design options—while clearly explaining your process and decision‑making. This is a remote, contract‑based opportunity ideal for professionals who enjoy both hands‑on slide design and communicating their approach in a clear, engaging way.
Responsibilities
Participate in recorded sessions with end users.
Initial discovery conversation (up to 30 minutes) to gather requirements.
Follow‑up session (up to 30 minutes) to present completed presentation options.
Create 2–3 versions of requested presentation designs in Google Slides within a 3 business day turnaround following the discovery session.
Record your workflow, including screen capture and narration, demonstrating how you approach layout, visual hierarchy, and storytelling.
Clearly explain your reasoning, design choices, and methods throughout the process.
Use provided recording tools (step‑by‑step instructions included) to capture video, audio, and screen activity.
Maintain a professional, engaging, and approachable presence during all sessions.
Collaborate with the project team and incorporate feedback to improve session quality and delivery.
Requirements
Strong professional experience with Google Slides and presentation design best practices.
Ability to translate user needs into clear, visually compelling presentations.
Strong understanding of layout, typography, color, and visual hierarchy.
Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to explain design concepts simply.
Comfortable working in a recorded environment and narrating your thought process in real time.
Ability to adapt to different user requests without advance preparation and deliver high‑quality work within defined timelines.
Reliable access to a quiet recording environment, stable internet connection, and microphone/headset with clear audio quality.
Project Details
Type: Contract / Freelance.
Session Structure: Up to 4 recorded projects with different end users.
Per Project Includes:
One discovery session.
Creation of 2–3 presentation design variations (delivered within 3 business days).
One presentation session with recorded screen capture and narration.
Time Commitment: Flexible, project‑based (scheduled sessions plus independent design time within SLA expectations).
Compensation: Milestone‑based per project.
Sessions are scheduled collaboratively based on availability, typically during U.S. business hours.
Deliverables must meet quality standards for video, audio, clarity of explanation, and timeliness.
Opportunities are dependent on project needs; additional sessions are not guaranteed.
