Director of Growth Marketing This is 1 day a week onsite in Ridgefield, NJ.**

They are a small, ambitious team on a strong growth trajectory with a culture built around ownership and performance.
About the Role This is a strategy-first role for a growth marketing leader who has owned ecommerce performance end-to-end and is ready to shape how a brand scales across DTC and beyond. You will set the growth marketing strategy, lead agency partners, and collaborate with a web developer to execute against a high-growth roadmap. The right person brings deep DTC expertise, beauty industry fluency, and the leadership presence to drive results in a lean, fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities
Own and evolve the growth marketing strategy across DTC, ecommerce, and omnichannel
Lead and manage external agency relationships across paid media and ecommerce, setting direction on strategy, creative testing, and performance accountability
Oversee ecommerce performance across the company's Shopify storefront, partnering with a web developer to execute against the roadmap
Build and own the DTC marketing calendar, coordinating across product launches, retail moments, and promotional campaigns
Define and manage KPI frameworks across CAC, LTV, ROAS, AOV, conversion rate, and retention
Lead email and SMS strategy including lifecycle programs, segmentation, and automation architecture
Drive A/B testing and optimization across paid, owned, and on-site channels
Collaborate cross-functionally with creative, retail, and brand teams to deliver cohesive go-to-market execution
Contribute to broader brand and channel strategy as a senior member of the marketing team
Qualifications
5 to 8 or more years of experience in growth or ecommerce marketing
Demonstrated ownership of ecommerce strategy, with measurable outcomes across DTC performance
Strong DTC experience across the full funnel, from acquisition through retention
Deep familiarity with the beauty industry, including category dynamics, customer behavior, and brand positioning
Experience in a startup or scaling environment where priorities shift and resourcefulness is a requirement
Proven ability to manage and hold accountable external agency partners and cross-functional collaborators
Comfort delegating to and directing a web developer on ecommerce execution and site optimization
Working knowledge of Shopify at a strategic level, with the ability to guide execution without being hands-on
Paid media fluency across Meta, Google, TikTok, or Pinterest is a plus
Experience with omnichannel or retail marketing coordination is an asset
