Regional Sales Manager - West Texas

Overview Preference will be given to candidates located in Fort Worth, TX, Abilene, TX, Amarillo, TX, Midland, TX, Odessa, TX, or Lubbock, TX. AmTrust Financial Services is seeking a Regional Sales Manager responsible for the marketing and sales of Workers Comp, BOP, Commercial package, and other specialty line coverages to independent agencies. The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to read, analyze, and champion strategic initiatives, and the capacity to consistently deliver on AmTrust revenue goals within our corporate values framework. This is an outside sales position that may require extensive travel throughout Ohio and other states as necessary.

Responsibilities

Sets appointments and conducts face‑to‑face meetings with independent insurance agencies and brokers throughout the assigned territory.

Executes territory marketing strategy to drive new business premium growth.

Works closely with underwriting to monitor and follow‑up on new business submissions and quoted accounts.

Completes weekly agency visit reports.

Actively participates in weekly sales calls, quarterly and annual sales team meetings.

Performs specific monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals and revenue objectives.

Trains agents on our products and underwriting appetite.

Trains agents on use of on‑line quoting and account management systems.

Maintains an understanding of all AmTrust products, services, and solutions and initiates discussions with other business units as appropriate.

Develops an annual Business Development Strategy for the assigned territory.

Exhibits knowledge of competitor products, capabilities, and general market trends.

Qualifications

Demonstrates integrity and professionalism.

Independent self‑starter capable of working remotely.

Knowledge of the commercial P&C insurance industry, its products, and services.

Ability to drive results by identifying and resolving issues within the scope of responsibility.

Advanced communication skills.

Experience selling insurance products through intermediaries and distributors.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other business‑related software.

Education & Experience

3+ years of insurance sales, marketing, or related field experience.

4‑year college degree or business equivalent.

Insurance designations are a plus.

Compensation The expected salary range for this role is $84,500–$130,000 annually. Salary information is a general guideline and may vary based on factors such as candidate skills, experience, education, training, role responsibilities, and market conditions.
