Commercial Sales Representative
to grow business across the Baltimore–Washington D.C. region.
This is a full‑cycle sales role where you’ll manage everything from prospecting and quoting to sourcing and fulfillment. If you’re motivated, relationship‑driven, and thrive in the fast‑paced world of commercial construction sales, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
Develop and grow new subcontractor accounts across the DMV/Baltimore area
Conduct outbound calls, site visits, and attend networking events to build pipeline
Manage pricing, quotes, sourcing (stock or direct‑ship), and logistics coordination
Maintain accurate CRM records and meet consistent activity and sales goals
Attend key industry events to strengthen relationships and stay connected
About the Role
Territory:
Baltimore–Washington D.C. (1–2 days/week in‑field visits; no overnights)
Sales Cycle:
Mix of quick‑turn orders and longer bid cycles
Deal Size:
Average $1.5K–$15K; large project packages up to $400K
Training:
In‑office onboarding; potential for hybrid flexibility after ramp‑up
What You Bring
Proven experience in
commercial sales
— ideally with
lumber, building materials, or construction supply
Strong communication, relationship‑building, and presentation skills
Proficiency in
Microsoft Office
and
CRM systems
A self‑starter mindset with the ability to own the full sales process
