Head of Growth (Ireland) Location 90% remote with a requirement to travel to our office and for client meetings where required.

Role Overview This is a sales role, let’s be clear about that from the start. We’re looking for a magnetic business developer who can own our revenue growth in the Irish and UK markets. Reporting to the CEO, you’ll be the driving force behind our sales pipeline, developing and executing growth strategies for our business. This isn’t a desk job where you wait for leads to appear. You’re hunting, closing, and building relationships with enterprise clients who need what we do, they just don’t know it yet. You’ll combine strategic thinking with relentless execution, turning prospects into long‑term partners who trust us with their most critical growth challenges. This role demands someone who thrives in the arena: pitching to C‑suite executives, commanding rooms (virtual or otherwise), and translating complex marketing strategies into business outcomes that matter.

Key Responsibilities

Pipeline Ownership:

Take end‑to‑end accountability for the health of the sales pipeline, working with the marketing team to ensure a consistent flow of high‑quality inbound and outbound leads.

Outbound Strategy:

Design and execute proactive outbound prospecting systems, leveraging advanced tools and personalised outreach to break into target accounts.

Inbound Optimisation:

Partner with the Marketing Team to refine lead capture and nurture sequences, ensuring marketing‑qualified leads (MQLs) transition efficiently into sales opportunities.

Strategic Business Development:

Identify, pursue, and close high‑value partnerships and client accounts that align with LOCOMOTIVE’s long‑term scaling goals.

Consultative Pitching:

Lead the end‑to‑end sales process—from initial discovery to final pitch—utilising a consultative approach that demonstrates deep strategic value to prospective clients.

CRM & Process Excellence:

Maintain a rigorous, data‑driven approach to sales management within HubSpot, providing transparent reporting on lead velocity, conversion rates, and ROI.

Market Intelligence:

Actively monitor industry shifts and competitor tactics to pivot our outreach messaging and maintain a competitive edge.

Your Background

Digital Marketing Fluency:

A strong understanding of integrated digital marketing strategies (SEO, Content, Paid Media, Creative, etc). You must be able to translate complex agency services into high‑impact business solutions for clients.

Proven Results:

5+ years of experience in high‑growth business development or growth‑related roles, ideally within a digital agency environment.

AI‑Native Workflow:

You don’t just use AI; you integrate it into your daily workflow to automate and accelerate the sales cycle.

HubSpot Power User:

Proficiency in HubSpot CRM (or alternative CRM) is essential; you believe that if it isn’t in the CRM, it didn’t happen.

Ownership Mindset:

You are a self‑starter who doesn’t wait for leads to land in your inbox; you have a “find a way or make one” attitude toward hitting revenue targets.

Exceptional Communicator:

You can command a room (or a Zoom call) and translate complex marketing strategies into compelling business outcomes for C‑suite prospects.
