Intermediate Salesforce Administrator

Base Pay Range $75,000.00 / yr – $100,000.00 / yr
Overview The Intermediate Salesforce Administrator will administer BrandEd’s Salesforce organization, ensuring that the platform meets the needs of higher‑education stakeholders and aligns with best practices for the Education Data Architecture (EDA).
The role supports a hybrid work environment with occasional onsite work in the greater New York City area.
Key Responsibilities
Salesforce Administration
Manage configurations and customizations (objects, fields, page layouts, Lightning apps, assignment rules, approval processes, dynamic layouts, actions, custom settings, dashboards, and reports).
Ensure proper mapping between EDA standard and custom objects.
Implement automation (Flow, Process Builder) to streamline workflows.
Handle user and license management (roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, sharing rules).
Proactive system maintenance (security reviews, release updates, health checks).
Sandbox environment management.
Collaborate with IT and vendors to integrate Salesforce with SIS, LMS, marketing automation, and other systems.
Data Management & Governance
Implement rules and automated processes to improve data quality.
Resolve duplicates, incomplete records, and inconsistent values.
Use Data Loader or similar tools to import/export student, alumni, and program data.
Maintain compliance with data governance standards and institutional security policies.
User Support & Enablement
Develop and deliver training sessions, user guides, and documentation.
Gather feedback from end users to continuously improve the Salesforce experience.
Communicate platform changes to end users and stakeholders.
Reporting & Analytics
Build and maintain reports and dashboards to support institutional priorities.
Partner with other teams to ensure accurate reporting from Salesforce data.
Application Support
Build application forms in FormAssembly and connect to Salesforce.
Diagnose and resolve application‑related issues and open cases with vendor support teams.
Qualifications & Experience
2–4 years of Salesforce administration experience.
Salesforce Administrator Certification.
Experience with declarative tools (Flow, Process Builder, Reports & Dashboards).
Preferred: Salesforce Advanced Administrator or Education Cloud Consultant certification.
Preferred: 1 year working with Salesforce Education Data Architecture (EDA).
Preferred: Experience with Experience Cloud, Pardot, FormAssembly, Tableau.
Four‑year college degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Strong communication, problem‑solving, and analytical abilities.
