Account Manager

Dealer Transit, LLC., Farmers Branch, TX, United States

About Dealer Transit Dealer Transit is a logistics concierge within the Risk Theory Holdings ecosystem, solving a $15 million vehicle theft problem in automotive transit. Backed by Risk Point’s insurance credibility and powered by an exclusive technology partnership with RunBuggy, dealerships are offered expanded theft coverage, deductible waivers, and loss run protection. We are scaling rapidly toward 700+ active dealership clients by year‑end 2026.

Role Summary The Account Manager owns the dealer relationship from the moment a Trial account is created through full activation, first shipment, and ongoing volume growth. You are the person who turns a signed‑up dealer into an active, loyal shipper. This role is critical to Dealer Transit’s revenue model — every dealer you activate and grow directly impacts company revenue and long‑term business value. You will be measured and bonused on activation rates and volume growth, not just activity.

What You Will Own Account Completion

Receive handoff from Director of National Accounts after end‑user meeting and Trial account creation.

Proactively contact all Trial account holders within 48 hours of handoff to begin the migration from Trial to Active status.

Troubleshoot account setup issues, ensure payment methods are added, and remove friction from the activation process.

This is your primary activation metric — you are measured on the percentage of Trial accounts you successfully convert to Active.

First Shipment

Guide dealers through placing their first order on the RunBuggy platform.

Stay on the line or available during the first shipment to ensure the process goes smoothly.

Document and escape any platform issues that create friction in the first‑order experience.

First 90 Days

Conduct weekly check‑ins with all accounts under 90 days old to track adoption and volume trends.

Identify rooftop expansion opportunities — if a dealer group has 10 locations but only 3 are shipping, your job is to grow to all 10.

Monitor share of wallet and proactively address any reversion to competitor platforms (Central Dispatch, ad‑hoc carriers).

Escalate at‑risk accounts to your Team Lead before they go inactive.

Retargeting & Retention

Transition matured accounts (90+ days) to monthly check‑in cadence.

Execute quarterly business reviews with key accounts to maintain engagement.

Coordinate with marketing on branded communications and dealer education content.

Identify upselling and cross‑sell opportunities within the Risk Theory ecosystem.

Strong organizational skills and CRM discipline (Salesforce experience preferred).
