Overview Cleary University is seeking a relationship-driven professional to serve as our primary liaison to public safety agencies across Ohio. In this role, you will build partnerships, support students, and represent the university within the public safety community.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain relationships with law enforcement, fire, EMS, and corrections agencies across Ohio
Conduct on-site visits, presentations, and information sessions at partner agencies
Serve as the main point of contact for prospective and current public safety students
Guide students from inquiry through enrollment and academic progression
Collaborate with enrollment, marketing, and academic teams to grow partnerships and programs
Represent Cleary University at regional events and conferences
Optional: Teach undergraduate courses (if qualified)
Qualifications
Master’s degree in leadership, management, communications, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience working in or with public safety or military environments
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Willingness to travel regularly throughout Ohio
Preferred
Background in law enforcement, fire service, EMS, corrections, or military leadership
Established connections within Ohio public safety agencies
Experience working with adult learners or in higher education
