is working with a business consulting firm in the financial services sector who are looking to fill a newly created role as part of their business development team.
We’re looking for an accomplished professional who can identify, and nurture leads and prospects into new client engagements; upselling to existing and former clients, uncover advisor needs, offering solutions that help advisors achieve their business goals, meet sales metrics, and close business.

Qualified candidates
must
have a minimum of four years of current or recent experience in financial services, banking, wealth management, investment management, banking or similar financial space. *Not including internships.
This is a fully remote role, but the associate must reside in
Wisconsin ,
Georgia ,
Nebraska
or
Maine
and able to work CST or EST hours.
Salary up to $105k with uncapped, variable commission.
Key Responsibilities & Capabilities
Proactively develops new business from a pipeline of
warm prospects, referrals, and former client relationships .
Assesses prospective clients’ stated and unstated needs and identifies opportunities to further explore relevant solutions.
Clearly articulates the organization’s
value proposition
to build interest and drive demand.
Partners closely with
Business Development Associates
to optimize lead flow, conversion rates, and overall revenue generation.
Collaborates with
marketing and business intelligence teams
to evaluate campaign performance, messaging effectiveness, and conversion outcomes; provides recommendations to improve results.Adheres to established procedures for engagement preparation, issue resolution, and timely submission of required documentation.
Maintains accurate and consistent
sales reporting , including pipeline tracking, forecasts, market feedback, and revenue performance; consistently meets or exceeds sales targets.
Other desired skills/experience
Software experience using Salesforce or similar CRM, HubSpot and Slack, preferred.
Proficient use of LinkedIn and other social media channels to build awareness and demand for services.
Persuasive communication skills: oral, written, presentation.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, communication, psychology, marketing or related.
Demonstrative history achieving sales results.
