Controls Sales Representative

This growing company on the West specializes in providing commercial building control systems, mechanical products, and services. Their solutions help organizations operate safer, more efficient, and more reliable buildings.

THE JOB: The local team is looking to hire a relationship-driven building controls professional in the greater Portland, OR area.

In this technical sales role, you will sell building control projects and service agreements to Owner and Property Manager personas. Key verticals sold into include Healthcare, K-12, Government, Manufacturing, and other emerging Commercial verticals. Estimating and specifying products in construction projects are key in this role.

THE QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 3 years of client-facing experience in sales, sales engineering, project management, or project engineering roles

Experience selling mechanical systems, building controls, and/or building automation solutions

Past ability to work with building owners and/or facility/property managers

Estimating experience required

Proven success in generating and maintaining customer relationships

Able to attend customer events (lunches, happy hours, golfing, etc.)

Active driver's licence and vehicle required - able to pass background/driving checks

Must live in Oregon or SW Washington, open to working in-the-field, remotely, and/or in the local office at least 1-2 days a week

THE BENEFITS:

$80-130K salary DOE + monthly uncapped commissions

$800/month vehicle allowance
