We are seeking a Graphic Design Intern to join the Foundation in its mission of benefiting, supporting, and enhancing the California Community Colleges—the largest and most diverse system of higher education in the nation. The Foundation for California Community Colleges is on a mission to double its impact in the next 10 years. We are a group of relentless optimists and innovators in education, working collaboratively with public and private partners to help improve the student experience and expand pathways to economic and social mobility in communities across California. The Graphic Design Intern will play an important role in helping communicate our organization's mission and initiatives through visual storytelling. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience assisting in the creation of compelling graphics and designs within a fast-paced non-profit environment. Working closely with our Graphic Design team, the intern will provide support across digital, print, and social media projects while learning about maintaining brand consistency and executing effective visual communication campaigns.**Compensation:** This is a paid internship at $20/hour, 10-15 hours a week. - **Administrative Tasks:** Provide general administrative support to the Graphic Design team as needed.- Strong visual communication and design abilities- Experience with graphic design platforms and tools- Knowledge of brand style guides and consistency- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deliverables- Experience working with graphic design and photography- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office- Excellent organizational and communication skills in niche areas across our areas of impact and higher education overall, and for their knowledge of business, philanthropy, technology, communications, and more**What we Offer**The Foundation for California Community Colleges is the official nonprofit partner to the California Community Colleges, the largest and most diverse system of higher education in the nation.
