Job Title Sales Incentive Administration Analyst

Location Austin, TX OR Santa Clara, CA (hybrid 3 days onsite)

Job Duration 12+ month Contract with potential for conversion

Primary Skills

2+ years of experience in sales compensation, commissions, sales operations, or sales finance, ideally within a high‑growth or technology‑driven organization

Understanding of sales processes, roles, and quota‑based incentive programs

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)

Preferred

Experience with databases and SQL (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake) or compensation platforms (e.g., Varicent, Xactly, Callidus)

Responsibilities

Conduct audits of plan documentation, job profiles, and compensation components to ensure compliance, consistency, and data accuracy

Support annual compensation planning cycles through data analysis, scenario modeling, and recommendations on plan mechanics and system capabilities

Work within the end‑to‑end operational process for AMD’s Sales Incentive Program (SIP)

Support configuration of AMD’s Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) tool, Varicent, and ensure it is aligned to current and new plan designs

Process documentation and create enablement documents in PPT

Complete new hire onboarding training for sales hires for processes related to SIP

THE ROLE

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail‑oriented Incentive Plan Analyst to join our Sales Incentive Program (SIP) team within the Sales Strategy and Planning organization.

This role will assist in shaping our global sales incentive programs through in-depth analysis, predictive modeling, and performance tracking. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑tech environment and is comfortable working cross‑functionally with a wide range of stakeholders. This position reports to the Sr Manager, Global Sales Compensation and will work closely with Sales Operations, Finance, IT and HR to support administration of Global SIP Plans. Responsibilities include quota and actuals consolidation, auditing results, addressing payee inquiries, cost modeling, and ad‑hoc analysis.
