Loan Servicing Specialist

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Loan Servicing Specialist for a hybrid position located in Brea, CA. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.
Summary This position is with a Major Financial Institution and is responsible for managing post-origination loan activities. The role involves the accurate processing of payments, adjustments, and documentation while ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
Responsibilities
Monitor and process loan payments, payoffs, and adjustments in servicing systems
Review loan documents to ensure accuracy and completeness of data
Respond to inquiries from borrowers, internal teams, and third parties regarding loan status and servicing issues
Reconcile account discrepancies and resolve servicing errors
Maintain loan records and generate reports to support audits, compliance reviews, and financial reporting
Assist with system upgrades, policy updates, and process improvements related to loan servicing
Requirements
Experience in loan servicing, banking operations, or financial services
Familiarity with loan servicing systems and documentation
Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to loan servicing and consumer finance
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Pay Range up to $42.91 per hour
