Marketing Engineer
for the
chiller
business unit. The Marketing Engineer is responsible for identifying product opportunities and executing marketing strategies to win business. Works with the product manager to identify new product development opportunities to bring them to market. Serves as a technical and coordination lead for sustaining and new product development for the assigned product lines. Leverages feedback from the sales organization and customers to generate product specs and work with the engineering team to develop winning products. Collects and translates applicable information on competing products in the market as well as industry trends to create collateral that will assist in product positioning. Location : Staunton, VA – hybrid (remote location considered).
Your Responsibilities
Support water‑cooled chiller models, but could work with air‑cooled product lines as well.
Provide marketing support for new product development and sustaining products.
Manage development and maintenance of literature and promotional tools.
Direct development or maintenance of sales or selection software.
Perform marketing evaluations for distribution needs, customer needs, market trends, competition, P&L requirements, pricing levels, and recommend appropriate action.
Occasional travel required (≤15%).
Develop and maintain strategic information and documents to guide the sales team on how to strategically sell Daikin products.
Assist product manager with information for sales forecasting and ROI projections.
Your Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of related experience working in the HVAC industry.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree or MBA.

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $90,400-$147,400 + 10% bonus in Virginia. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade in which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
