They’re expanding their commercial team and looking for someone early in their sales career who enjoys building relationships and helping brands reach niche, high‑value audiences.
The role involves selling digital advertising, sponsored content, and integrated marketing campaigns across a well‑established portfolio of professional publications and platforms.
What the role involves
Building new business through proactive outreach across phone, email, social channels, and industry events
Developing and managing a pipeline of prospective advertisers and partners
Selling digital advertising placements, sponsored content, and campaign packages
Having consultative conversations with clients to understand commercial and marketing goals
Negotiating and closing advertising agreements
Working with internal teams to ensure campaigns launch and deliver successfully
Keeping CRM records organized and accurate for pipeline management and forecasting
Sharing feedback on market trends, client needs, and competitor activity
Attending relevant industry conferences and networking opportunities
What they’re looking for
Around 2+ years in sales, business development, or commercial roles
Comfortable reaching out to new prospects and building relationships from scratch
Someone motivated by targets and revenue growth
Strong communication skills and confidence presenting ideas to clients
Ability to manage multiple opportunities and maintain a structured pipeline
Experience working with CRM systems and standard business tools
Willingness to attend industry events and occasional travel
Highly preferred background (but not required) Candidates who have previously worked with or sold into
life sciences or healthcare‑related organizations
