About the Opportunity INSPYR Solutions is partnering with a leading organization in the hospitality industry to identify a
Director of Accounting
for a permanent opportunity. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for overseeing accounting operations, ensuring financial integrity, and driving process improvements within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting
Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering development and performance
Direct the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Establish and maintain strong internal controls and accounting policies
Partner with executive leadership on financial strategy, reporting, and business initiatives
Oversee audit processes and coordinate with external auditors
Lead budgeting and forecasting efforts in collaboration with finance teams
Drive process improvements, automation, and system enhancements
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and reporting requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA required
8-12+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership experience
Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
Experience managing full-cycle accounting operations
Proven leadership and team management skills
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar)
Advanced Excel and strong analytical capabilities
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
