
Senior Manager / Director - Corporate FP&A

Location: US (Remote / Hybrid)
Compensation: $150K–$175K base + 10–15% bonus
Overview A global cybersecurity software platform is building out its standalone finance function following a carve‑out from a larger parent company. Backed by private equity, the business is establishing the infrastructure to operate as an independent ~$300M software company and is seeking a high‑impact FP&A leader to help build the corporate planning function from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
Lead corporate FP&A, including company-wide forecasting, reporting, board materials, and lender compliance reporting.
Build and maintain the core operating model, initially in Excel, to support planning, budgeting, and financial analysis during the carve‑out phase.
Partner closely with the CFO and finance leadership to establish planning processes, reporting cadence, and performance insights.
Support transition from legacy systems to a new finance tech stack including Workday Financials, Adaptive Planning, and Salesforce.
Collaborate with global stakeholders across GTM, R&D, and services as the FP&A function scales.
Ideal Background
FP&A experience in a private equity-backed environment (software or tech-enabled businesses preferred).
Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with the ability to operate in ambiguous or evolving environments.
Experience building models, planning frameworks, or reporting processes from scratch.
Exposure to Adaptive Planning or similar FP&A tools is a plus.
Context of the Role
Initially highly hands‑on as the company builds its finance infrastructure and separates systems from the parent organization.
