You Are A specialist in our Tooling Practice with deep technical expertise and experience in selling and implementing Atlassian’s suite including Jira, Jira Align, Confluence, Azure DevOps, AHA, Planview, Rally/Broadcom Apptio, ServiceNow or other market leading Agile productivity tools. You are an architect in Jira and/or Jira Align and/or other tools, with a deep understanding of configuring tools, setting up workflows, understanding cloud architecture, and managing data archiving strategies. You have a strong technical background and are passionate about leveraging agile tools to drive business transformation. You have experience working on sales pursuits, managing workstreams, and consulting with and guiding managers, and people in agile delivery roles to achieve their goals through tooling. Your superpower is using the latest Agile productivity tool suites to help companies apply lean principles and practices so they can boost performance, accelerate business change, and drive disruption. You do this by challenging the status quo to promote an environment and culture of continuous improvement, experimentation, and innovation. And you lead by example with your top‑notch listening, facilitation, and conflict‑resolution skills.

The Work

During Business Development Phase

Contribute to ABA Tooling Services sales pursuits

Join client and account discussions to share the benefits of tool offerings, conduct product demos, and share industry‑wide solution patterns for tooling implementations

Partner with other parts of Accenture and tooling partners on sales pursuits

Work on 1-2 opportunities from the business development pipeline and work on proposals

Share Enterprise Agility Offerings, including tool capabilities, with the client

Understand the nature of the opportunity, account team, and client expectation

Qualify the opportunity and assist in estimating the rough size of the opportunity

During Solution Design Phase

Design the tooling solution by working with the opportunity account team

Propose the delivery phase team and work with the account team to price the solution

Understand process/activities criticality and priorities (including technology and business agility, regulations, Client Data Protection, etc.)

Provide input into creating the statement of work for proposal

During Delivery Phase

Set the foundation for being a trusted advisor by being fully responsible for the solution implementation across all levels of the organization

Lead implementation workstream activities across one or more functional areas; understanding cloud architecture to configure the tools, set up workflows, throttle migrations, integrate plugins, create hierarchy rules, and manage data archiving strategies

Lead or facilitate workshops/training sessions to educate leaders and teams on products

Support client stakeholders, client teams and Accenture teams on their journey to implement the products and successfully employ Agile practices

Mentor and pair with change agents and stakeholders in client organizations to help them become lean‑Agile champions and build lasting Agile skills

Coach and mentor junior Accenture team members on how to influence organizational change and remove barriers to transformation

Contribute to strategies and roadmaps for transitioning to the new toolsets

Influence change across functional areas by working across the organization to define and execute strategies for successful product implementations; get hands‑on in enabling the incremental delivery of value

Build solution implementation across client organization and solution team‑leading activities

Work with technology leaders to define strategies and roadmaps

Work to resolve key integration challenges for applications and client teams

Configure tooling product features

Collaborate with stakeholders to create alignment on how to meet high levels of solution delivery quality

Contribute to training content and training workshops

Here’s What You Need

Minimum 3 years of Atlassian tools experience

Minimum of 5 years of Agile transformation experience

Minimum of 7 years of practical Agile experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (minimum 10 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)

Bonus Points If

Certified Atlassian Jira Project Admin

Has Microsoft, Google or Amazon Cloud certifications

SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) 6.0 certification

You have verifiable experience teaching courses related to tooling solutions

You excel in pragmatic problem‑solving, resolving interpersonal conflicts, and helping people communicate effectively

You have a proactive and empowering nature that makes others want to follow your lead

You know when to step in and lead and when to step back and let the team determine next steps

You have experience with other popular Agile practices and frameworks (e.g., Lean, Kanban, Extreme Programming)
