Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and experienced
Account Executive – Individual and Group Benefits
to join a team at a well-established, family-oriented insurance agency. This role is ideal for a self-starter with a strong background in producing and servicing individual health, group benefits, and ancillary insurance accounts. The successful candidate will take over an existing book of business, manage small to mid-sized accounts, and contribute to the growth of the agency. Compensation Package
Salary : $55,000 - $65,000 (depending on experience) + c
ommission on larger group accounts Benefits : Competitive benefits package, 401(k), paid time off, professional development opportunities, etc. Responsibilities
Manage and service an existing book of business, including individual health, group benefits, and ancillary insurance accounts (e.g., Medicare, life insurance). Quote and renew new and existing business, with a focus on small to mid-sized group accounts (20-50 employees). Provide exceptional customer service to clients, including walk-ins, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally. Identify opportunities to grow the book of business through cross-selling and new client acquisition. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak periods, such as Open Enrollment. Utilize EPIC software to manage client accounts and documentation. Maintain compliance with industry regulations and company policies. Qualifications/Requirements
Licenses : Active Life & Health Insurance License required. Experience : Minimum of 2 years of account management experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on benefits. Proven ability to produce and service individual and group benefits accounts. Strong organizational and multitasking skills, especially during high-demand periods. Proficiency in EPIC software or similar agency management systems is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach. Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a small, close-knit team. Leadership potential is a plus, with the ability to take on additional responsibilities as the agency grows. #LI-CS1
