General Description

This position assists in developing and promoting new and existing outdoor recreation opportunities across the state. The position is 100% remote and requires travel around the state. Human Resource Contact: ashley.bray@wyo.gov / 307-777-3631 Responsibilities

Work cooperatively with Wyoming State Parks & Cultural Resources staff to accomplish a shared mission and achieve various goals across divisions, sections, and units. Assist with coordinating, planning, setup, and facilitation of hybrid in-person and virtual collaborative meetings. Create detailed meeting minutes. Research and maintain spreadsheets for outdoor recreation opportunities and events. Build relationships with land managers, tourism offices, local stakeholders, business owners, and non-profit organizations. Assist with outdoor recreation events, programs, trade shows, and community collaborative efforts. Provide excellent internal and external customer service. Answer phone calls and emails; respond to inquiries or direct appropriately. Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have a valid driver’s license. Preference may be given to those with a high school diploma or equivalent. Preference may be given to those with some college coursework. Physical Working Conditions

May require extensive travel. Must be comfortable working all day outdoors for some programs and events. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that may include weekends and holidays. EEO Statement
