As we accelerate national expansion across sporting goods retail and specialty channels, we are seeking a transformational sales leader to drive the next stage of growth.

This is not a maintenance role.

This is a build-and-scale opportunity.

The Opportunity We are hiring a Director of Sales to architect and lead a scalable national sales organization. You will own revenue growth, expand distribution with major sporting goods retailers, and build a high-performance team aligned with aggressive growth targets.

You must have real experience calling on large national sporting goods chains and regional power accounts. This role requires both strategic vision and hands‑on execution.

What You’ll Own Revenue Growth & Distribution Expansion

Develop and execute a comprehensive national sales strategy

Expand distribution across major sporting goods retailers and specialty channels

Build annual sales plans, forecasts, budgets, and KPI structures

Structure margin frameworks and inventory strategies that drive sell‑through

Key Account Leadership

Personally call on and maintain executive‑level retailer relationships

Lead line reviews, pricing negotiations, and promotional planning

Secure new national distribution opportunities

Sales Organization Architecture

Build and scale a high-performance sales team

Manage direct sales professionals and independent rep networks

Define compensation plans and accountability systems

Implement forecasting discipline and pipeline visibility

Brand Representation

Represent SQAIRZ at key trade shows and industry events

Partner with Marketing to support launches and retail activations

What You Bring

7–10+ years of progressive sales leadership in sporting goods or adjacent performance categories

Proven success calling on large national sporting goods retailers

Experience managing both direct sales teams and independent reps

Strong understanding of wholesale margins, retail buying cycles, and line review processes

Demonstrated ability to consistently exceed revenue targets

Analytical strength in forecasting and revenue modeling

Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred

Preferred: Footwear, athletic equipment, or performance apparel background. Existing relationships with major sporting goods buyers strongly valued.
