
B2B Sales - Dealer Program Manager (Window Coverings)

The Opportunity
RYSE is on a mission to automate every window in the world. We've built smart motors that retrofit onto existing window blinds and curtains, turning them into voice-controlled, app-enabled smart home devices. We're growing fast, and we need someone to own and scale our dealer network across North America.
What You'll Do Build & Manage Our Dealer Network
Outbound/Inbound Emails and Calls to prospects
Qualify and onboard new window blind dealers and showrooms who want to sell RYSE products
Send sample kits, schedule installation support calls, and walk dealers through their first experience with our products
Conduct training calls and provide ongoing support to help dealers successfully sell and install RYSE
Travel to visit key dealers in the US and Canada (expect 15-20% travel - think trade shows, dealer visits, and relationship building)
Own the Dealer Experience
Be the primary point of contact for all dealer questions, issues, and needs
Process orders, track shipments, handle returns, and resolve problems quickly
Run regular check-ins with dealers to understand what's working and what's not
Create marketing materials, FAQs, and resources that make it easier for dealers to sell
Scale What Works
Track metrics: conversion rates, dealer satisfaction, order volume, and channel revenue
Document what works (and what doesn't) so we can refine the process over time
Report monthly to the founder on program performance and suggest improvements
Eventually hire and train additional team members as the network grows
Requirements Who You Are You're a Builder You don't need a script or a fully-baked process - you're excited to figure things out as you go. You're comfortable with ambiguity and see problems as opportunities to create solutions.
You're a People Person You genuinely like talking to people - on the phone, on Zoom, and in person. You can build rapport with baby boomer business owners and make them feel confident about trying something new. You're patient, empathetic, and can explain technical products in simple terms.
You're Hungry You want to prove yourself, earn more, and grow quickly. You're motivated by commission, excited by the idea of building something from scratch, and ready to hustle. You see this as a launchpad, not just a job.
You're Organized & Reliable You follow through on commitments, respond to emails within 24 hours, and keep detailed notes. You don't let things slip through the cracks. If a dealer has a problem, you own it until it's solved.
What We're Looking For Must-Haves
Valid passport and ability to travel to the US regularly (15-20% travel)
Excellent communication skills - phone, email, and video calls
Comfortable with technology - you'll need to learn our products, use CRM software, and manage spreadsheets
Self-starter mentality - you don't wait to be told what to do
Based in or willing to relocate to the Greater Toronto Area
Nice-to-Haves
Sales, customer success, or account management experience
Experience in B2B or channel sales
Background in home improvement, construction, or window covering industry
Startup experience or entrepreneurial mindset
Benefits Compensation & Benefits Base Salary $32,000 USD per year
Commission Structure Dealer Activation Bonus: $200 per dealer who places their first wholesale order
Annual Sales Bonus: 1.5% of total dealer channel revenue
Realistic Earnings Example (Year 1) If you onboard 8 dealers per month (96 total in Year 1) and they collectively generate $1,000,000 in sales:
Base: $32,000
Activation bonuses: $19,200 (96 dealers × $200)
Annual sales bonus: $15,000 (1.5% of $1,000,000)
Total Year 1 Compensation: $66,200
By Year 2 with a mature network of 100+ active dealers, total comp could reach $90-120k+ as recurring revenue grows.
