$200,000 - $230,000 / year + Benefits ABOUT OUR CLIENT / ABOUT THIS ROLE Medix is seeking a Director of IT Core Systems for a permanent opportunity with our Healthplan client in NYC. This is an Executive Leadership role within the HealthPlan that will oversee the implementation and operations of next generation Core Administration Processing Systems (CAPS) for the Health Plan. We are seeking an experienced resource who has significant experience with a Health Plan, and has prior experience on a HealthEdge Implementation (or similar CAPS) Talent must be local to the NYC metro area and willing to work onsite in a hybrid capacity (2 days / week) Responsibilities
Serving in a Director capacity, reporting to an SVP, with dotted line to CIO/CFO. Leading cross-functional teams through the end-to-end implementation of a new Core Administration Processing System (HealthEdge). The implementation is multi-staged, with a number of go-lives and cutovers planned into 2026-2027. Prior HealthEdge HealthRules (HRP) and GuidingCare experience would be highly preferred over other CAPS platforms. Providing expertise on the contracts and benefit configuration of the system. Leading with expertise in the Health Plan and Managed Care space (Medicare, Medicaid, Child Health Plus). Assisting with the migration from the current legacy platform. Managing the system, contract configuration teams, and eventually a new QA team. Participating as an active and engaging IT Leader in the organization. Required Experience & Qualifications
Required Bachelor of 4-year College Degree Required 10+ Years of professional experience Required expertise in Health Plan and Managed Care / MCO space Required experience implementing a Core Administration Processing System (CAPS) HealthEdge CAPS experience is preferred Seniority level
