Overview: Creek Technologies is seeking a Strategic Communications Content Specialist to support the development and execution of communication strategies that align with organizational priorities and mission objectives. This role plays a key part in translating complex technical and programmatic information into clear, compelling content for internal and external audiences.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with leadership, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging, high-quality content, and effective communication across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain a comprehensive content strategy aligned with organizational goals and audience needs

Support and manage a content calendar to ensure a consistent flow of high-quality communications

Establish and enforce content standards, guidelines, and best practices for clarity, consistency, and quality

Research, write, and edit a variety of content including articles, web content, press materials, and marketing collateral

Translate complex technical concepts into engaging, easy-to-understand narratives while maintaining accuracy and compliance

Create and support development of communication products such as presentations, briefings, and basic graphics

Edit and proofread content for clarity, consistency, readability, and adherence to organizational and regulatory standards

Ensure consistent branding, messaging, and voice across all communication products

Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather information and validate content accuracy

Tailor communications to specific audiences to maximize engagement and impact

Participate in meetings and planning sessions to gather insights and contribute to communication strategies

Stay current on industry trends, tools, and emerging technologies to enhance communication effectiveness

Support event-related communications and content as needed

Travel as required to support organizational initiatives

Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in communications, content development, public relations, or a related field

Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to produce clear, concise, and compelling content for diverse audiences

Experience creating both long-form content and presentation materials

Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across teams and organizational levels

Critical thinking skills with strong attention to detail and a proactive, self-starter mindset

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines

Proficiency with digital communication and collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace or similar platforms)

Ability to work independently in a distributed or hybrid work environment

Education & Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field (required)

Relevant certifications in communications, marketing, or digital media (preferred)
