
Technical Sales Specialist

As the
Technical Sales Specialist , you’ll be responsible for building customer relationships, driving new business, and growing sales in the life sciences and microbiology space. You’ll own the microbiology and laboratory equipment portfolio with deal sizes from a few hundred dollars up to $60K, with sales cycles varying from weeks to years. This is an exciting opportunity to
hit the ground running , take ownership of a high-potential territory across the West Coast, and play a pivotal role in the company’s growth. What You’ll Do:
Drive
direct sales
of microbiology and life sciences products across the West Coast (focus on BayArea). Build and maintain strong customer relationships within
academia, research, and industry . Leverage your technical knowledge to confidently present and sell microbiology solutions. Develop and execute sales strategies that accelerate growth in the US market. Travel 2–3 days per week to customer sites across the region. Work independently while staying connected to the wider global team. What We’re Looking For:
Proven track record in
technical sales
within the
life sciences / microbiology
field. A “ road warrior ” mentality — motivated by being in front of customers and closing business. Strong technical acumen; able to speak the language of microbiology with confidence. Well-networked across research, academia, and/or life science markets. Independent, self-motivated, and results-driven. Experience managing distributor relationships is a plus, but this role requires hands‑on direct sales. Leadership & Culture:
