Position Overview Talley Law Group (TLG) is seeking a highly organized and tech-savvy Estate Planning Paralegal to support multiple attorneys with estate planning and tax-driven transactional matters. This role is ideal for:
Experienced paralegals (3-5 + years) with exposure to entity formation, and estate planning work.
Entry-level candidates with strong technical aptitude and organizational skills who are eager to grow within a boutique legal environment
The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, resilience, and resourcefulness, with the ability to manage competing priorities, handle sensitive information with discretion, and thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Core Responsibilities
Provide case management and administrative support to attorneys handling corporate, entity formation, estate planning, and transactional matters with tax components
Coordinate document execution, entity formation filings, and correspondence with clients and external agencies
Maintain organized digital files and project tracking systems
Review, edit, and format legal documents using Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat
Conduct research, including Secretary of State filings, IRS lookups, and basic legal research
Assist in preparing client deliverables, transactional checklists, estate planning documents, and entity playbooks
Utilize Excel for tracking, budgeting, and data analysis (including formulas, lookups, and pivot tables)
Collaborate with legal, tax, and operations teams to ensure consistency and compliance
Required Qualifications (Must-Haves)
Hands-on experience with entity formations and estate planning matters
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and formatting
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with direct communication styles
Interest in tax-driven corporate work and comfort handling sensitive financial data
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Adaptability and comfort navigating shifting priorities
Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and initiative
3–5+ years of experience supporting transactional, corporate, tax, or estate planning attorneys (preferred, but high-potential candidates will be considered)
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)
Paralegal certificate (not required)
Notary Public certification (not required, but highly valued)
Experience drafting or proofreading transactional documents, entity filings, estate planning documents, or closing binders
Familiarity with document management and e-signature platforms (e.g., iManage, DocuSign, Adobe Sign)
Experience leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) tools for drafting, summarization, research, or document review is a strong plus
Experience supporting tax-focused legal or accounting teams
Background in M&A, corporate reorganizations, or complex entity structures
Familiarity with legal research platforms (e.g., LexisNexis, Westlaw)
