Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Sales Specialist in the Aerospace & Defense industry in Chicago, Illinois. Responsibilities include:

Advise sales teams and prospective clients on Aerospace & Defense use cases

Own relationships with Aerospace & Defense prospects from first contact to contract closure

Learn and replicate Go Abacus’s strategic business development approach

Host solution demos to educate prospects on capabilities and regulatory value

Lead contract negotiation and pricing

Provide thought leadership for AI in Aerospace & Defense to be used for marketing content creation

Sales roles offer a base salary starting at $68,000, complemented by a competitive and uncapped commission structure. Total compensation is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, aerospace engineering, manufacturing, information systems or a related field

3+ years of experience of consulting, vendor management, enterprise software sales or compliance in the Aerospace & Defense industry

Knowledge of aerospace engineering, control systems, defense ecosystems and regulatory frameworks

Requires travel up to 20% of the time for conferences
