The Opportunity: This is an opportunity to join TGI Sport in the role of People & Culture Business Partner – Americas. Reporting to the Global Head of Human Resources, this role is a part of the Global HR Team (with operations in Australia, North America, LATAM, UK and Europe) and is responsible for the people and culture delivery for the America’s group.

The standalone nature of this role requires you to support the local leaders and more than 100 employees with their day‑to‑day people and culture needs end to end. This role will operate in parallel with, and is supported by the Global HR Team. This role is additionally supported by the local Finance function, based in Chicago as well as TGI Sport in‑house legal team based in the UK.

Whilst the role is generalist in nature and every day will be different, there is a focus on talent acquisition, workforce planning and design, leadership coaching and benefits/insurance administration that will suit anyone who enjoys working with people leaders to design and help build the teams they need for the future.

This role will also partner closely with Finance to support payroll‑related activities, ensuring accurate employee data, timely updates, and seamless coordination across North America and LATAM.

Your Mission

Developing and maintaining a core skill set, workforce and culture which aligns with business needs and increases employee engagement

Providing quality, timely advice and coaching support to managers on employee relations, workplace relations, and payroll matters, including interpretation of payroll processes, benefits/insurance, and related policies.

Coaching managers and coordinate the development and effective implementation of action plans and initiatives

Advising managers on effectively managing employee performance and development, ensuring employees have clear objectives, development plans and receive ongoing feedback

Managing grievances, disciplinary matters and staff related complaints requiring advice, mediation, or investigation

Management of the employee life cycle for all employees based within North America and LATAM, including collaborating with finance on payroll‑related data flows. This involves ensuring accurate onboarding, changes, and offboarding information is provided for each payroll cycle.

Ensuring accurate maintenance of employee payroll data, collaborating with Finance on payroll cycles, and supporting employees and managers with payroll‑related queries.

About You

Experience in candidate management and sourcing through to selection and onboarding

Demonstrated success in a Talent Attraction and/or People & Culture Business Partner role

Generalist HR background and experience

Proven track record in facilitating change and the ability to influence outcomes

Experience in employee relations and grievance handling

Proven experience as a strong business partner with ability to influence, coach and persuade managers, and provide guidance as appropriate

A values driven and influential approach to leadership

Familiarity with payroll systems, payroll data accuracy, and supporting leaders and employees with payroll‑related queries.

Qualifications & Experience Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience in a similar role
