Summary We are seeking experienced Technical Writers to lead the development of developer-facing documentation for machine learning platforms and frameworks. In this role, you will take ownership of content strategy, information architecture, and documentation development across a range of interconnected components including APIs, SDKs, developer tools, and optimization workflows.
You will work closely with engineering teams to translate complex machine learning and AI concepts into clear, accurate, and developer-friendly documentation. The ideal candidate is highly technical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments while delivering high-quality content on tight timelines.
What You’ll Do
Own content strategy and information architecture for developer-facing documentation across ML platforms and frameworks
Develop clear, accurate, and comprehensive documentation including platform overviews, getting-started guides, tutorials, API/SDK references, and troubleshooting guides
Collaborate closely with engineering teams to build deep technical understanding and ensure accuracy of documentation
Translate complex machine learning and AI concepts into accessible, developer-friendly content
Ensure consistency in terminology, narrative flow, and documentation standards across multiple components
Support documentation efforts tied to product launches, updates, and developer events
Manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
Drive documentation quality and improvements through feedback, iteration, and best practices
What You Bring
Proven experience writing developer-facing documentation for machine learning or AI platforms and tools
Hands-on familiarity with ML concepts such as model conversion, compression, quantization, and optimization techniques
Experience working with Python-based machine learning workflows
Familiarity with ML frameworks and platforms such as PyTorch, Core ML, ONNX, or similar
Experience documenting APIs, SDKs, and developer tools
Strong skills in information architecture, content organization, and documentation standards
Ability to align terminology and maintain consistency across complex technical content
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver under tight timelines
Bonus Points If You Have
Experience supporting developer conferences or launch-driven documentation cycles
Experience working in embedded or highly technical product environments
Strong collaboration skills with engineering and product teams
