As the business scales, there is a clear need to move from fragmented, site-level reporting toward a more centralised, data-driven operating model - particularly across patient access, optical performance, and revenue cycle.
About the Role This is a newly created leadership role focused on building and scaling the organisation’s data and AI capability.
The role sits at the intersection of operations, finance, and technology - responsible for turning data across EHR, PM, and optical systems into clear, actionable insight that drives performance across a multi‑site environment.
There is a strong focus on
practical AI application , particularly across scheduling, call centre performance, patient intake, and optical conversion.
Responsibilities
Own and execute a centralised data strategy across a 50+ site optometry platform
Integrate and standardise data across EHR, PM, optical, and RCM systems
Build reporting across key KPIs including patient access, exam volumes, optical capture rate, revenue per patient, and RCM performance
Partner with COO / CFO / Ops leadership to drive data‑led decision making
Identify and implement AI use cases across scheduling, call centre optimisation, and intake workflows
Improve data visibility, governance, and consistency across newly integrated sites
Translate complex data into clear insight for executive leadership
Qualifications
Experience in a Director / Head of Data, Analytics, or similar role
Track record building data infrastructure across
multi‑site healthcare platforms (50–150+ locations)
Strong understanding of EHR / PM and optical data environments
Experience within or alongside
PE‑backed or high‑growth organisations
Exposure to AI / automation in operational settings (patient access, RCM, or similar)
Ability to operate cross‑functionally with Ops, Finance, IT, and executive teams
Required Skills
Data architecture, integration, and governance across multi‑site environments
Dashboarding & reporting (Power BI, Tableau or similar)
Strong understanding of operational KPIs within healthcare services
