A highly regarded, mid-sized New York law firm with a national reputation in shareholder activism and corporate governance is seeking a c.4th–6th+ year Transactional Real Estate Associate to join its growing real estate group.

Strong profitability and long-tenured attorneys
Structured similar to Big Law (formal support, summer program, professional administration)
The firm has recently added real estate partners and is experiencing increased transactional workflow.
The Role The associate will work on a broad range of commercial real estate transactions, including:
Acquisitions and dispositions
Commercial leasing
Development transaction
Real estate financing (borrower and lender side)
Work is partner-fed and involves meaningful responsibility on sophisticated New York-based transactions.
Required
NY Bar admission
Law firm experience
Preferred
Strong academic credentials (3.4+ GPA preferred)
Experience handling deals with significant responsibility
Compensation & Hours
1,800 billable hour target
Discretionary but competitive bonus
