Tax Director
to play a key leadership role in both client delivery and team development. The Opportunity
This is a leadership position with clear visibility into firm strategy and growth. You’ll oversee a small, high-performing team while focusing primarily on review, client advisory, and relationship management. There is also a meaningful path toward Partnership for someone interested in contributing to business development and firm expansion. Just as important—this is a firm where high performance doesn’t come at the expense of balance. Leadership has intentionally built an environment where professionals can do great work, earn top-of-market compensation, and maintain a sustainable schedule. Key Responsibilities
Review complex tax returns including: Partnerships and S-Corporations Select C-Corporations Trusts and estates Serve as a trusted advisor to a diverse client base, including real estate investors and restaurant owners Manage, mentor, and develop a team of 4–5 tax professionals (Staff through Manager level) Provide technical guidance and ensure quality across engagements Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a go-to resource on key accounts Contribute to internal leadership development—helping shape the next generation of firm leaders Participate in business development efforts and strategic growth initiatives (optional but encouraged for Partnership track) What Sets This Role Apart

CPA preferred 6+ years of public accounting tax experience Strong technical expertise across individual, partnership, and pass-through taxation Experience reviewing complex returns and managing engagements Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop staff Client-facing experience with strong communication skills
