As the first sales hire, you will build the entire go-to-market motion from scratch for an innovative AI optimization platform. Working directly with an experienced repeat founder, you will define the sales playbook, close initial enterprise deals with engineering leaders, and scale the sales organization for a well-funded infrastructure business. What You Will Do: Design and execute the initial go-to-market strategy, identifying high-value customer segments and building the sales pipeline from scratch. Lead the end-to-end enterprise sales cycle, from prospecting and technical discovery to closing complex deals with CTOs and VPs of Engineering. Partner with the founding team to refine product-market fit based on customer feedback and help build the foundation for a future sales team. The Ideal Candidate: At least 4 years of experience in enterprise or strategic sales, ideally as an early employee at a high-growth developer tools or AI startup. Technical fluency and the ability to hold credible, deep-dive conversations about APIs, cloud infrastructure, and model deployment with engineering buyers. A proven builder mindset with a track record of taking ownership, navigating ambiguity, and scaling revenue in a dynamic, early-stage environment.
