
CX+ Leasing & Application Specialist

Role Summary The CX+ Leasing & Application Specialist supports prospective residents from first inquiry through completed application, serving as a key point of connection during the leasing journey. This role combines application support with centralized leasing assistance, including supporting new lease-ups and high-volume leasing periods. The Specialist helps ensure a smooth, engaging, and efficient experience for applicants while supporting on-site teams and new communities during growth phases.
Essential Responsibilities
Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective residents during the application and early leasing process.
Support centralized leasing efforts by answering general leasing questions, providing property information, and assisting prospects with next steps.
Provide leasing support for new lease-ups, including handling inquiries, supporting tours (virtual or scheduled), and assisting with application conversion during high-volume periods.
Guide applicants through required documentation, screening requirements, and what to expect throughout the application process.
Generate lease documents, review for accuracy, and send out to approved applicants.
Maintain friendly, professional communication with prospects and applicants via phone, email, and text.
Monitor application progress and follow up with prospects who have missing or incomplete materials.
Communicate application status updates and timelines to prospects and internal teams.
Flag potential delays, screening issues, or documentation concerns to help keep leasing timelines on track.
Help ensure pre-qualification requirements are understood and addressed prior to screening.
Collaborate with on-site and centralized teams to support occupancy goals, especially during lease-up periods and peak leasing seasons.
Qualifications & Abilities
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience in leasing, customer service, admissions, or administrative support.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Highly organized and able to manage multiple prospects and applications simultaneously.
Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-volume leasing environments.
Familiarity with property management or leasing software preferred.
Experience supporting new lease-ups or high-growth communities is a plus.
This is a remote position; however, candidates must reside in the Dallas–Fort Worth area and be able to attend required in-person meetings, trainings, and team events as scheduled.
Reliable internet access and the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
