Position Title: Account Executive, Strategic Expansion

About the Role As an Enterprise Account Executive focused on existing customers, you will play a crucial role in deepening and expanding relationships, driving growth and long‑term success.
This is a full‑time position based remotely in Paris, France.
What You’ll Do
Drive Growth: Identify and capitalize on revenue expansion opportunities within high‑potential enterprise accounts, driving consistent growth.
Collaborate Cross‑Functionally: Work closely with technical, product, and marketing teams to deeply understand customer needs and deliver tailored, value‑driven solutions.
Lead Discovery: Conduct comprehensive discovery sessions with existing customers to uncover additional use cases and opportunities for cross‑sell and up‑sell initiatives.
Build Relationships: Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders within customer organizations, including C‑level executives and technical teams, ensuring alignment and satisfaction. Develop strong relationships with partner organizations to foster collaboration and drive mutual success.
Strategic Account Planning: Develop and implement strategic account plans focused on customer satisfaction, retention, and growth, aligning customer goals with Fivetran’s offerings.
Advocate for Customers: Serve as the voice of the customer within Fivetran, advocating for their needs and driving product enhancements that meet market demands.
Pipeline Management: Accurately forecast expansion revenue and maintain clear visibility into performance through active management of your sales pipeline.
Onboarding and Training: All new sales team members attend a one‑week, in‑person Revenue Bootcamp during their second week at Fivetran. This bootcamp, held at a designated company location, requires travel and is a mandatory part of onboarding.
Skills We’re Looking For
Enterprise software sales experience with a strong track record in customer expansion and account management.
Exceptional communication skills; ability to influence, negotiate, and engage multiple stakeholders in a value‑driven sales process.
Extensive knowledge of the data technology landscape, focusing on solution‑based selling.
Proven ability to identify and capitalize on expansion opportunities, driving revenue growth within existing accounts.
Exceptional organizational skills, focused on building and executing long‑term strategic account plans.
Strategic thinker who can articulate customer needs and align them with Fivetran’s offerings.
Resilient, proactive problem solver who overcomes challenges creatively.
Customer‑first mentality with high energy and enthusiasm.
Proven ability to build strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders, fostering collaboration to deliver maximum value and ensure alignment with customer objectives.
Technical background with experience in data integration, databases, ETL, or business intelligence technologies is a strong plus.
