Responsibilities

Employee Relations Business Partner

provides HR/Employee Relations support for employees and leaders in designated pavilions. Serves as a trusted advisor on issues including performance management, workplace investigations, policy interpretation, employee grievances, DE&I, EEOC, FLSA, FMLA, and ADAAA.

Interprets Harris Health policies, conducts investigations, delivers training, and provides advice on complex/escalated HR issues and concerns.

Liaises with Union representatives regarding employee corrective actions when appropriate.

Facilitates Employee Grievance panels and participates on ad-hoc committees related to Employee Relations Strategy.

Tracks and generates reporting around various Employee Relations functions.

Partners with corporate compliance on investigations requiring HR involvement.

Formulates relationships across HR functions to deliver value-added service to the business unit supported.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field

Licenses & Certification:

SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP; SHRM-GCP, sHRBP preferred

Work Experience:

Two (2) years of work experience with in-depth knowledge of human resource disciplines, including Employee Relations, Compensation, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Organizational Effectiveness & Development, Workforce Leadership, and Business & HR strategy

Communication Skills:

Above Average Verbal (heavy public contact); Exceptional Verbal (public speaking); Bilingual skills preferred (Spanish); writing and report correspondence

Proficiencies:

MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Outlook; PC typing

Job Attributes:
