Role Overview We are seeking a highly driven and experienced

Vice President of Sales

to lead revenue growth and expand our presence in the rapidly evolving

Pay by Bank

ecosystem. This leader will be both a strategic sales executive and a hands‑on closer, responsible for building a scalable sales organization while personally driving key enterprise deals across fintech, payments, and financial services.

The ideal candidate has

deep experience selling payments, fintech infrastructure, or bank-based payment solutions , and thrives in high‑growth environments where both strategy and execution are required. They bring a strong

industry network across everyday spend merchants (grocery, fuel, QSR, c store)

and demonstrated ability to generate early pipeline through established relationships, market credibility, and a proven track record of driving new business.

Responsibilities

Own and drive company‑wide

revenue growth and sales execution .

Develop and execute a scalable

sales plan

aligned with company growth targets.

Build, manage, and mentor a high‑performing sales team.

Pipeline and Business Development

Leverage an

established network

and strong industry relationships to generate early‑stage pipeline and drive new business opportunities.

Translate

market credibility

and professional connections into qualified opportunities, strategic partnerships and closed deals
ew sales.

Maintain a visible and

active presence

in the market to continuously build, nurture, and expand a healthy sales pipeline.

Personally lead and close

strategic enterprise deals , particularly in complex fintech and payments environments.

Build relationships with

executive‑level stakeholders

at large merchants and with key sales partners.

Drive deals from

initial engagement through negotiation and close .

Market Expansion

Identify and capitalize on opportunities within the

Pay by Bank and account‑to‑account payment landscape .

Develop partnerships and channels that accelerate adoption of the company’s payment solutions.

Represent the company in industry events and strategic conversations.

Sales Process & Operations

Establish and refine a

repeatable sales process , pipeline management, and forecasting discipline.

Implement tools, KPIs, and reporting structures to track performance and improve efficiency.

Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and partnerships to ensure alignment on go‑to‑market strategy.

Customer & Industry Expertise

Maintain deep knowledge of the

payments ecosystem , including open banking, account‑to‑account payments, and merchant payment flows.

Translate complex fintech products into clear value propositions for customers.

Bring deep connections across target everyday spend verticals.

Qualifications (Required Experience)

10+ years of experience in

sales leadership , preferably within fintech, payments, or financial infrastructure.

Demonstrated success in

closing large enterprise deals .

Proven experience scaling and leading

high‑performing sales teams .

Strong understanding of

payments, banking infrastructure, or fintech platforms .

Deep network across everyday spend categories.

Preferred Experience

Experience with

Pay by Bank or account‑to‑account payments .

Background working with

banks, fintechs, payment processors, or large merchants .

Experience in

growth‑stage or startup environments .

Key Skills & Attributes : Exceptional

closing ability and negotiation skills , strategic thinking with strong

execution mindset , ability to build trust with

C‑level stakeholders , data‑driven sales management, strong communication and leadership skills, entrepreneurial mindset with comfort in fast‑moving environments.
