Legal Marketing Director
to join the team in
New York City .
Who You Are
You have a bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of marketing and business development experience at a law firm
Skilled at collaborating with attorneys and senior leadership to drive growth and visibility
Strong writing, editing, and project management skills
Comfortable leading a small team while actively contributing to projects
Experienced with CRM, marketing automation, and analytics tools
Experienced in supporting client engagement, events, and external recognition campaigns
Familiarity with NYC/LA markets and experience in creative, entertainment, or media industries, a plus!
What You’ll Do
Shape firm marketing initiatives to support growth, visibility, and strategic positioning
Partner with attorneys to expand client relationships and strengthen practice group profiles
Coordinate client-facing programs, seminars, and professional events
Develop external communications including announcements, press updates, and thought leadership content
Drive opportunities for attorney exposure through media, industry recognition, and speaking engagements
Prepare responses for client proposals, pitches, and industry submissions
Manage digital initiatives, including social content, web presence, and campaign messaging
Oversee systems supporting client tracking, engagement, and reporting
Mentor and guide a small marketing team while collaborating with internal departments and vendors

Marketing programs and client initiatives advance smoothly across offices
Attorneys and practice groups receive consistent, high-quality support
External communications, submissions, and proposals are delivered on schedule
Client-facing programs enhance relationships and increase firm visibility
Marketing systems and workflows operate efficiently, supporting business development and reporting goals
The marketing team functions collaboratively and contributes effectively to firm objectives
Salary Range $215,000 – 250,000 annually, based on experience
Location New York, NY – Hybrid
