Commercial Operations Specialist
to support key compliance and customer engagement initiatives. This is a high-responsibility role ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while supporting field sales operations and sample accountability. This opportunity is temporary through the end of the year with potential for extension or permanent hire based on performance and business needs. What You’ll Be Doing
You will play a central role in ensuring the compliant and efficient operation of a national pharmaceutical sample distribution program. Responsibilities include: Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
Serve as a key liaison among Legal, Compliance, Sales, Marketing, IT, and Supply Chain teams to uphold compliance standards and deliver service excellence. Partner with 3rd-party vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely communication and order processing. Program Oversight
Manage communications within the field sales inbox and respond to inquiries from field-based personnel. Oversee daily operations related to sample accountability, including onboarding, territory changes, and offboarding of field reps. Ensure regulatory compliance with PDMA, FDA, GDP, SOX, and internal SOPs across all sample-related processes. Order Management & Customer Service
Monitor and process orders, fulfillment, invoicing, and returns with accuracy and speed. Resolve order-related issues such as system errors, order blocks, and allocation discrepancies. Proactively communicate with stakeholders about order status and escalations. System Administration & Data Management
Maintain accurate customer and rep data in ERP systems (Oracle). Troubleshoot EDI, ERP, and LSP interface issues. Leverage tools like Excel and Power BI to generate insights, track KPIs, and support decision-making. Why You’d Be a Good Fit

guidelines and can confidently apply them in operational workflows. You're highly organized, systems-savvy, and able to troubleshoot with minimal supervision. You excel at working cross-functionally and are comfortable communicating with a range of stakeholders. You're committed to delivering top-tier customer service and are comfortable managing high-volume inboxes and data. Requirements
High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred. 3–5 years of relevant experience with degree, or 7–9 years without. Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle preferred), Microsoft Excel, Power BI. Strong written/verbal communication and analytical skills. Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team. Office environment with occasional exposure to moderate warehouse conditions. Minimal physical demands; must be able to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally. Seniority level
