Through advocacy, workforce development, and premier consumer events like the Progressive Cleveland Boat Show and the Progressive Catawba Island Boat Show, OMTA works to grow participation in boating and support marine businesses across the state. We are a fast-moving, entrepreneurial organization seeking a versatile, tech-savvy professional who can help elevate our digital presence, streamline operations, and integrate modern tools including AI and CRM systems. Position Overview This is a multi-functional role for someone who thrives at the intersection of marketing, technology, and operations. The ideal candidate is both creative and analytical, comfortable managing social media and websites while also exploring and implementing AI tools and CRM systems to improve efficiency and engagement. This role is primarily in-office to support collaboration and day-to-day operations, with flexibility when appropriate. Key Responsibilities Social Media and Content Management Manage and grow OMTA’s social media presence across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and emerging channels Develop and execute content calendars aligned with campaigns and major events Create, schedule, and publish engaging content including posts, reels, and stories Monitor engagement, respond to comments and messages, and track performance metrics Capture and promote content from events and industry activities AI Integration and Digital Innovation Identify and implement AI tools to improve marketing, communications, and internal workflows Assist in automating newsletters, email campaigns, and outreach Explore AI-driven strategies for content creation, segmentation, and analytics Stay current on emerging technologies and recommend practical applications Website Management (WordPress) Maintain and update OMTA and related websites using WordPress Create and update pages, blog posts, and landing pages Ensure content accuracy, branding consistency, and strong user experience Support SEO improvements and performance optimization CRM and Data Management (HubSpot Preferred) Manage and maintain CRM systems, HubSpot experience preferred Segment audiences including members, exhibitors, and consumers Execute email marketing campaigns and workflows Track engagement, conversions, and campaign performance Maintain clean, organized, and usable data General Support Support marketing and promotion of events, including boat shows and conferences Work collaboratively with internal team and external partners Contribute ideas to improve efficiency, engagement, and growth Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in digital marketing, communications, or a related role Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities Self-starter with a proactive, problem-solving mindset Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment Required Skills and Experience Candidates should demonstrate hands-on experience in many of the following areas: Managing business social media accounts with measurable growth and engagement Creating and scheduling content using tools such as Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, or similar platforms Writing marketing copy for social media, email campaigns, and websites Basic graphic design or content creation using tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar Experience working with WordPress , including page updates, plugins, and basic troubleshooting Familiarity with CRM systems , preferably HubSpot, including contact management, email campaigns, and reporting Exposure to or experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, automation platforms, content generators) in a professional setting Understanding of email marketing platforms and campaign execution Basic knowledge of SEO, website analytics, and digital performance tracking Ability to analyze data and adjust strategies based on performance Preferred (Not Required) Experience working with events, associations, or lifestyle brands Video editing or short-form content creation experience Interest in boating, outdoor recreation, or tourism Compensation and Benefits Compensation commensurate with experience and role structure (full-time or part-time) Accrued paid time off, commensurate with hours worked Flexible work environment with a strong team culture and meaningful industry impact Why Join OMTA Play a key role in modernizing and growing a statewide industry Work on high-visibility events and campaigns Opportunity to implement new technology and shape digital strategy Collaborative, entrepreneurial environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
