You’ll be the strategic mastermind behind USA TODAY Network’s online store, responsible for functionality, user experience, product listings, pricing, promotions, and inventory management. Your mission: rapidly grow expansion, reach, and revenue through data-driven growth strategies and customer behavior analysis.

Are You Eligible? Key Requirements for Application

5+ Years eCommerce Experience

in consumer brand merchandise, especially sports, books, and/or media publications

Technical Platform Skills

with Shopify, SEO tools, digital marketing platforms, and data analysis software

Analytical Expertise

to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions

Communication Excellence

with team members, customers, and stakeholders

Problem-Solving Abilities

for online sales and customer experience challenges

Organizational Mastery

managing multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines effectively

Media Brand Interest

in sports, books, travel, and merchandise related to media brands

What You’ll Actually Do

Coordinate store products with content plans, tentpoles, and major sporting events to drive sales

Maintain and optimize online monetization of the USA TODAY Network store

Develop strategies to increase visibility, drive traffic, and boost conversion rates

Optimize content and structure for search engines to improve organic rankings

Monitor KPIs, analyze sales data, and identify growth opportunities

Manage stock levels and ensure accurate product information

Work with eCommerce platforms to manage products, orders, and payments

Integrate store into content plans across USA TODAY Network

Respond to shopping customer needs and improve overall experience

Stay current with latest eCommerce best practices and industry trends

$45k-$92k base salary plus variable compensation potential
