The organization serves no particular individual(s) but pledges relief to impaired or deprived individuals who are in need of musical, visual, comedic, and other alternative forms of liberation through fine art & entertainment. The Donovan's Venom INC. gives its resources to individuals who don't have the means or access.

We’re Building — And It Has to Move The Donovan’s Venom is expanding—not just programs, not just products. We are building stories that teach, engage, and reach people everywhere. We are seeking a Director of Animation & Media Production to lead the creation, production, and distribution of our animated and media content.

Because impact isn’t just what people read. It’s what they see, hear, and connect with.

The Role As the leader of the Animation & Media Studio, you will build and run a scalable media pipeline and creative ecosystem. You will own the process from concept through storytelling, production, and distribution, ensuring all media content is high quality, structured, and aligned with our mission.

What You’ll Own Studio Leadership & Creative Direction

Define and lead the creative vision for animated series and educational media content, establish consistent visual and storytelling standards, and build a culture of creativity and quality.

Animated Series & Media Product Ownership

Own the development of educational animated series and supporting media content, defining episode structure, season planning, and content roadmap.

Production Pipeline & Execution

Build and manage a structured animation pipeline that includes scriptwriting, storyboarding, animation, editing & post‑production, while ensuring timelines, milestones, and delivery.

Creative & Technical Oversight

Maintain high standards across animation quality, visual storytelling, audio, and editing, and align creative teams with tools and workflows.

Team Leadership & Development

Lead animators, writers, editors, and production teams; define roles, workflows, and expectations; and support recruitment and development of team members.

Distribution & Audience Strategy

Build distribution strategy across YouTube and digital platforms, including educational channels and streaming opportunities, and drive audience growth and engagement.

Funding & Growth Strategy

Support sponsorships, grants, and partnerships; contribute to pitch decks and media showcases; and identify opportunities for sustainability and scale.

Cross‑Division Collaboration

Align with Interactive Media, Educational Products, and the EdTech Platform to ensure storytelling integrates across the ecosystem.

Performance & Optimization

Track engagement (views, retention, reach) and production timelines, and improve content strategy and production efficiency.

Qualifications Required

5+ years in animation, media production, or related fields.

Experience with end‑to‑end production pipelines.

Strong understanding of storytelling, animation workflows, and production management.

Preferred

Experience leading animation or media teams.

Familiarity with tools such as After Effects, Blender, Toon Boom, etc.

Experience with digital platforms (YouTube, streaming).

Experience in educational or mission‑driven content.

Commitment

15–25+ hours per week.

Executive‑level engagement.

Fully remote.
