Leland Management is seeking an experienced Dedicated Onsite Licensed Community Association Manager (LCAM) with a flexible remote work arrangement to lead a master‑planned community of over 1,100 single‑family homes and townhomes in Jacksonville, Florida. The full‑time role may require occasional nights and weekends and offers a comprehensive benefits package.
The Role The Community Association Manager Is Responsible For
Ensuring compliance with the Association’s governing documents, Florida statutes, and industry best practices.
Managing vendor relationships, contracts, and service providers to ensure optimal performance.
Drafting and overseeing Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for all work within the community.
Supervising maintenance programs and property aesthetics to maintain high community standards.
Acting as the primary liaison for Board Members, homeowners, and vendors.
Developing and monitoring community budgets in alignment with Board expectations.
Preparing and presenting monthly Board packets, including management reports, financial statements, and operational updates.
Utilizing company software (Caliber), Microsoft Teams, Word, and Excel for documentation and communication.
Responsibilities
Vendor and Maintenance Oversight:
Solicit bids, compare options, and oversee vendor contracts.
Monitor maintenance programs and common area upkeep.
Board and Resident Communications:
Maintain confidentiality while providing professional, effective communication.
Prepare and facilitate Board and committee meetings.
Provide regular community updates via website, newsletters, and meetings.
Compliance and Governance:
Enforce Association rules, policies, and procedures.
Oversee architectural review applications and property violations.
Financial and Administrative Management:
Develop, review, and manage budgets, financial reports, and cash flow.
Maintain and organize Association records in compliance with regulations.
Leadership and Problem‑Solving:
Act as a trusted advisor for the Board of Directors.
Handle community issues with sound judgment and professionalism.
Requirements Qualifications Required
Active Florida Community Association Manager (CAM) License
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong customer service and communication skills (written & verbal)
Experience in financial reporting, budget preparation, and contract negotiations
Ability to work collaboratively with a team, including accounting and administrative support staff
Preferred
5+ years of experience in association management, property management, or a related field
Experience conducting site inspections, enforcing covenants, and managing association meetings
Knowledge of Florida Statutes and Association governing documents
Master‑planned community experience preferred
Project management experience is a plus
