Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, edit, and maintain manufacturing batch records and work instructions within the Dozuki system
  • Translate technical processes (e.g., chemical manufacturing, polymer synthesis, purification steps) into clear, step-by-step digital guides
  • Collaborate with SMEs (e.g., manufacturing chemists, process development, and quality teams) to capture accurate process details
  • Ensure all documentation aligns with ISO 9001 quality standards and internal documentation practices
  • Standardize formatting, terminology, and structure across batch records for consistency and usability
  • Incorporate visuals (images, diagrams, tables) to enhance clarity and reduce operator error
  • Support version control, change management, and document updates as processes evolve
  • Participate in process walkthroughs and shop floor observations to ensure documentation reflects actual practices

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Life Sciences) or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of technical writing experience in a manufacturing, biotech, or regulated environment
  • Experience writing SOPs, batch records, or work instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to simplify complex technical information
  • Excellent written and verbal xywuqvp communication skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Dozuki or similar digital work instruction platforms
  • Familiarity with GMP, ISO, or regulated manufacturing environments
  • Exposure to chemical or polymer manufacturing processes
  • Experience incorporating visuals and instructional design best practices
  • Continuous improvement mindset (PPI, Lean, or Six Sigma experience a plus).
