Job Title: Technical Writer

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, edit, and maintain manufacturing batch records and work instructions within the Dozuki system
- Translate technical processes (e.g., chemical manufacturing, polymer synthesis, purification steps) into clear, step-by-step digital guides
- Collaborate with SMEs (e.g., manufacturing chemists, process development, and quality teams) to capture accurate process details
- Ensure all documentation aligns with ISO 9001 quality standards and internal documentation practices
- Standardize formatting, terminology, and structure across batch records for consistency and usability
- Incorporate visuals (images, diagrams, tables) to enhance clarity and reduce operator error
- Support version control, change management, and document updates as processes evolve
- Participate in process walkthroughs and shop floor observations to ensure documentation reflects actual practices
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Life Sciences) or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of technical writing experience in a manufacturing, biotech, or regulated environment
- Experience writing SOPs, batch records, or work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to simplify complex technical information
- Excellent written and verbal xywuqvp communication skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Dozuki or similar digital work instruction platforms
- Familiarity with GMP, ISO, or regulated manufacturing environments
- Exposure to chemical or polymer manufacturing processes
- Experience incorporating visuals and instructional design best practices
- Continuous improvement mindset (PPI, Lean, or Six Sigma experience a plus).
