BATHHOUSE, New York, NY, United States
ABOUT BATHHOUSE
Bathhouse is a home for people to look, feel, and perform their very best. Guests utilize our amenities—thermal pools, saunas, steam rooms—in a sleek, modern, and socially engaging atmosphere. We offer best-in‑class massages and scrubs that are protocol‑driven treatments delivered by an elite team of practitioners. Anybody with a body can benefit from a Bathhouse service.
We focus on functionality over preciousness and recovery over relaxation—the "anti‑spa" spa experience. We are industry rebels. Join us.
JOB DESCRIPTION Bathhouse is seeking a Designer to support the creation of new Bathhouse amenity spaces. This role functions as a core collaborator with leadership and works closely with the Design Architect, helping translate architectural concepts into highly resolved built environments.
Bathhouse projects combine architecture, wellness, and hospitality. Bringing together saunas, hydrotherapy pools, and social spaces into immersive spatial sequences. Translate conceptual ideas into clear architectural proposals and spatial studies

Support the development of architectural language, including stone, tile, plaster, lighting, and water elements
Participate in design reviews and iterative development

Prepare presentation materials, design packages, diagrams, visualizations, and design narratives
Clearly communicate design intent internally and with consultants
Assist with construction documentation and consultant coordination
Track design revisions and maintain drawing clarity
Participate in responses to RFIs, shop drawings, and contractor coordination
Help source and evaluate materials such as stone, tile, plaster, and custom metalwork
Support fabrication coordination for specialty architectural elements
QUALIFICATIONS
4-6 years of professional experience in architecture
Degree in Architecture or Interior Architecture, preferred
Demonstrated ability to work through space planning, material selection, and produce detailed construction drawings
Strong proficiency in Revit
Experience coordinating with consultants
Experience in hospitality, cultural, or experiential architecture
Experience with wet environments or spa/pool design
