Job Summary The Counter Server at Dune Café is the face of the guest experience, responsible for crafting beautiful, made-to-order salads and smoothie bowls while delivering warm, attentive service. This role requires speed, precision, and a strong eye for presentation, ensuring each dish reflects the clean, vibrant aesthetic of our brand.

Key Responsibilities Guest Experience

Welcome each guest with a polished, friendly, and approachable demeanor

Provide knowledgeable guidance on menu offerings, ingredients, and dietary accommodations

Create a seamless and elevated counter service experience reflective of a luxury coastal property

Food Preparation & Presentation

Prepare salads and smoothie bowls to order with consistency and attention to detail

Execute recipes with precision while maintaining speed during high-volume periods

Ensure all items are presented with a clean, vibrant, and visually appealing finish

Operational Excellence

Accurately input orders into Simphony POS and process payments efficiently

Maintain full station readiness, including prep of fruits, vegetables, grains, and toppings

Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to management

Cleanliness & Standards

Uphold strict food safety and sanitation standards

Maintain a pristine and organized workstation at all times

Follow all health department regulations and internal SOPs

Qualifications

Experience in a café, juice bar, or fast-casual environment preferred

Strong communication skills

Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast-paced setting

Basic food preparation skills

Availability to work weekends, holidays and peak summer periods

Pay Range and Compensation Package

$17.00 per hour plus tips
