Loan Servicing Manager
LHH is assisting our northside client in their search for a hands-on, detail-oriented Loan Services Manager to oversee day-to-day loan servicing operations while also performing complex loan processing tasks. The Manager ensures loan servicing functionsincluding commercial, mortgage, and consumer lendingare completed accurately, efficiently, and in full compliance with federal and state regulations and bank policy. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in loan servicing (banking or mortgage), proven supervisory experience, and a willingness to lead by example. Supervise and mentor a team of 5 loan servicing employees, providing daily guidance, problem-solving support, and ongoing training. Conduct performance evaluations and support staffing decisions including training, coaching, promotions, and corrective actions. Foster a collaborative, approachable environment aligned with State Bank's open-door leadership culture. Perform daily loan servicing and processing functions, including commercial, mortgage, and consumer loan documentation and maintenance. Ensure all tasks comply with regulatory standards and internal policies. Oversee the timely production of department reports, schedules, and required documentation. Coordinate with auditors, internal departments, and retail Branches to support seamless cross-functional workflows. Review and resolve customer exceptions, inquiries, and escalated servicing issues. Support team training on systems including Jack Henry Core, LaserPro, and LoanVantage Produce reports and insights for senior leadership related to workload, performance, compliance, and operational improvements. Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred 5+ years of experience in commercial loan servicing Experience with Jack Henry, LaserPro, and/or LoanVantage (preferred) Experience supervising, coaching, or mentoring employees. Strong understanding of loan documentation, servicing processes, and regulatory requirements. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to learn and master bank-specific systems.
