In this role, you'll take ownership of a diverse grant and contract portfolio, helping ensure funding is secured, managed, and aligned with real community impact. You'll work closely with program, finance, and leadership teams to keep projects compliant, on track, and moving forward‑while helping translate complex requirements into clear, actionable processes.
This is a role for someone who enjoys both big‑picture thinking and detail‑driven execution‑and wants their work to directly support services like parent education, workforce development, eviction prevention, and family stabilization.
What You'll Do
Manage a portfolio of 40+ grants and contracts, ensuring deadlines, deliverables, budgets, and compliance requirements are met
Maintain accurate, organized grant records and systems (CRM), keeping all documentation current and accessible
Support program teams in understanding contract requirements and tracking outcomes tied to services
Research and pursue new grant and contract opportunities aligned with YCCA's mission
Lead and coordinate proposal development, including timelines, budgets, and required documentation
Partner with program staff, Finance, and leadership to align funding with program needs
Serve as a key liaison between funders, partners, and internal teams to ensure clarity and accountability
Track budgets and coordinate invoices and financial reporting with Finance
Oversee compliance elements including MOUs, grant portals, and required registrations
Prepare internal updates and Board reports on funding status and performance
Support administrative operations (data entry, registrations, reconciliations, mail processing)
Contribute to community and fundraising events, supporting planning through execution
What We're Looking For
Strong written communication skills, including experience with grant writing and reporting
Excellent organization and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Experience working collaboratively across teams and with external partners
High attention to detail, strong follow-through, and problem‑solving ability
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Salesforce, and HMIS
Experience with tools like Salesforce, Adobe, or similar platforms
Nice to Have
Bachelor's degree in public administration, nonprofit management, communications, or related field
Knowledge of social service programs or Family Resource Centers
Experience with nonprofit budgeting or grant financial reporting
Familiarity with trauma-informed care or the Five Protective Factors
Knowledge of Yolo County's community organizations and funding landscape
