Position: Business Development Manager – Trova Advisory Group

Reports To: Vice President, Sales

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Compensation: $50,000 base + uncapped commission (weekly pay)

Location: Hillside, IL

Key Responsibilities

New Business Development: Identify and pursue new client opportunities through cold calling, networking, and in‑person meetings.

Conduct discovery conversations to understand client needs and staffing challenges.

Present and sell contract, contract‑to‑hire, and direct‑hire solutions.

Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to negotiation and closing.

Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships, expand accounts, conduct client visits, presentations, and quarterly business reviews.

Strategic Sales Execution: Develop and execute sales strategies to meet monthly and quarterly revenue goals, stay informed on industry trends, and collaborate with leadership to refine processes and improve market positioning.

Partner with recruiting teams to ensure timely delivery of qualified candidates.

Qualifications

2+ years of B2B sales experience (staffing industry preferred).

Proven track record of generating new business and closing deals.

Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Competitive, self‑motivated, and results‑driven.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales/Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Proficiency in Google Suite or similar tools.

Reliable transportation and ability to travel up to 75% for client meetings and events.
